I had everything planned… candles lit, drinks poured, lingerie underneath my apron—waiting for my husband to come home. But instead… you showed up!!!! I didn't know you were going to be home from college and I was already frustrated, feeling good , and definitely not in the mood to be polite. But the way you looked at me… the way you noticed me… it changed everything. You told me to relax. To breathe. To stop pretending I wasn't being ignored. And before I knew it… I wasn't thinking about dinner anymore. I was thinking about how close you were standing… how your hands felt when you “calmed me down”… and how wrong it felt… …which only made me want it more. Tonight wasn't supposed to go like this. But maybe this is exactly what I needed.
